Our quality control manager, Tonya, has a special place in her heart for coffees from Honduras. In 2018 she took her first origin/buying trip to Marcala. Ever since just about every coffee from Honduras is reminiscent of that amazing experience. When searching out some outstanding micro lots to offer this year we were thrilled at the chance to bring in another natural process gem. This coffee is grown by Nancy Hernandez, a farmer who knows the quality of her beans and negotiates the price accordingly and we were more than happy to oblige!
We find the cup to boast tons of sweet, juicy, and fruity notes. It starts with ripe strawberries, dark cherries, and nectarine with undertones of dark chocolate.
