Our newest offering from Guatemala originates in the San Marcos region from farms nestled in the soils of the Tajomulco and Tacaná volcanoes. This coffee comes from the Manos Campesinas cooperative which works to promote strategic values including social responsibility, quality, sustainability, gender equality, and environmental protection. They are proud to be self-sustaining and financially independent. The cooperative was created in 1996 and represents over 1200 farming families.
This washed fair trade organic coffee has all the trademarks of a great Guatemalan. Juicy notes of apple and pear balance beautifully with notes of caramel and raw sugar sweetness. We love it in a Chemex or an Aeropress!
